Adventure: 007 – Be on a Boat

Team: Thing One, Thing Two

Location: Florence Lake

Description:
Usually when faced with taking a ride or being told go take a hike, well team Thing One, Thing Two usually will go take a hike. But in this case, we had at least a six mile hike, in the hot sun. On top of that, Thing One and Thing Two, but not the Cat in the Hat had already hiked that trail a couple of times already. We both concurred with a trail review which said that the trail is “totally without interest”.



So the team took a boat, the Sierra Queen, across Florence Lake, saving ourselves of four miles of hot trail. The Sierra Queen has been in server for 43 years at Florence Lake. Before that, the Sierra Queen worked in the San Francisco Bay, herding buoy's.



But the three of us enjoyed our ride across the lake and getting ready for our seven day hike.
