Description:
A short days hike today. A backpacker runs on thoughts of food. Today's thoughts were to be fulfilled beyond expectations. But first we needed to make it to the ferry at the east end of Edison Lake. We made it to the lake's edge by 9. But then found a ¾ mile death march across the sands of the lake bottom. Making the ferry, we got to Vermillion Valley Resort and hiker heaven. We ate our breakfast there—sharing a monster size breakfast burrito. Nicole found us and took us to Fritz and Ethel's room. A bed and food. We are in heaven. For more, read our blog.
