What a deal! $16,000 for this place! When Sherri and Gary visited this house, we were able to look onto the premises, not tour the grounds. Gable Mansion is a private dwelling, having gone through a series of restorations for the past 40 years. The Gable family owned the house until 1973 when Robert McWhirk bought the mansion and started the rehabilitation project. In 1997, Jeff and Starr Barrow, who bought the 12,000 square foot mansion and has been actively restoring it. In 2012, the Mansion was part of the Woodland Stroll, a historical house tour.
