Capture California

What is a YOLT? Well, you may have heard the term YOLO. Gary and Sherri think we can live again, not as James Bond, but as being reborn. Consequently, we are having fun in our life, after all, You Only Live Twice.

Description:
Bridalveil Falls Trail is usually the first trail which any first time park visitor does. Today we took two friends of our daughter, our daughter and our son to Yosemite Valley. Rachel's friends were either first time or not very frequent visitors. It is always a wonderful thing to see the Valley through the eyes of first time visitors.

Instead of parking in the already packed, waiting room only parking lot, we went a little bit further down the road and parked on the side of the road. From there, we followed a path to the main path. Since we traveled from Fresno, we took a detour back to the parking lot to use the accommodations. Then it was back up to Bridalveil Falls Vista Point. While the spray from the falls was light, it still was there. While these falls may never go dry, this year towards Fall, there may only be a few drops going over the side.

Being such a little hike, we were wondering about the suitability for Capture California. But when we look at NPS' list of hikes for the Valley, lo and behold, there it was!. An easy hike, but a hike no less.
