Description:Today, we checked Twitter to see what the Twitter Tuesday event was, but by 9:00am we had to leave our Wifi connection before we could find out what the adventure for today was.
After saying goodbye to our aunt in El Cajon, we headed out. Gary's Mom had been reminiscing about when she worked in San Diego during the war-that would be WW II. On her days off, she would go to La Jolla and was wondering what it looked like now. So off we went and parked close to Scipp's Park. This was close to where she remembered her time here in1944. While we were there, we drove along La Jolla's Scenic Drive, Coastal Drive, and it was scenic. The coast and the cliffs, a great jutsenpoint of land and sea.
Then off we went, up the coast along I-5, stopping for lunch in Buena Vista, discovering that today's adventure was to take a scenic drive. SCORE! Even after this, we drove through the Grapevine which has its own scenic beauty, and into our Central Valley. Nice drive with good eye candy of grape vines finishing out its season and almond trees with out their nuts.
