Description:
We decide to head back to Fletcher lake on a different trail than the one we came in on.  We had no idea what faboulus new discoveries awaited us as we started on this trail.  We hiked up into the forest instead of being next to the creek.  We did pass a great looking lake named Boothe. The most amazing section of this trail was the big white feathers we found on the trail.  We determined they were from a moulting eagle.  We were concerned that they may have been a creature versus bird fight in the forest but after doing research eagles do lose there feathers. We had seen an eagle earlier in the day.  This discovery made our hike back to the camp one of exceleration.  We were tired at the end of our hike but thinking about the eagle made it worth it. For more on this hike, see our blog.
