Description:  The next trail in The Cat in the Hat’s Crazy Trail Run at Anthony Chabot was Columbine trail. The trail name has a special connection to the Cat in the Hat, because she was almost named after the beautiful flower. However no Columbines seen on the trail.
Columbine trail is a beautiful singletrack trail that is mostly downhill. It was probably my favorite section of the 14 mile run because of the shaded woods and glimpses of the lake. I didn’t see a single other person on this part of the trail.
