Details: I did a series of trails in the
Hayward hills with a couple friends of mine after a teaching job interview.
Although I’ve spent a lot of time in Hayward, my hiking experience has been
pretty limited. My friends live right by the trail entrance to these trails so
we walked to the entrance from their house.
At the entrance is a
park where people fly kites and it is one of the places that the author from
Kite Runner, Khaled Hosseini, does kite flying. At least that’s what I’ve been told.
The trails go
through the hills and have some surprising gorgeous views of the Hayward hills
and of the city. It was a good time with good friends.
