Description: The next trail in The Cat in the Hat’s Crazy
Trail Run at Anthony Chabot was Cascade Trail. This is the part where it gets
to be off the beaten path. It leaves the traditional Chabot loop and goes north
of the lake. It’s overgrown and a little bit worrisome for those of us ultra-allergic
to poison oak. It parallels Grass
Vallley Creek, although it was rather low. After about a mile on Cascade it
runs into stone bridge where you have a couple choices for trail. My choice
took me on Brandon Trail.
