What makes this ordinary house qualify for the local historic registry? Is it the style? No. The beauty? No. Prominent people lived here? No. It is the architects which designed this Colonial Revival style home. It is the only building in Fresno designed by the Greene brothers. You may be wondering who they may be. The answer is that they are the ones who designed the Gamble House at USC. Still do not know who they are? The Gambles are the other half of the Proctor and Gamble company. See our entry from last year for more information on the Gamble House.
