Adventure: 090 – Take a Walk

Description:
Each morning we take a three mile walk around our neighborhood. But when we were thinking that there should be something a bit out of the ordinary for this adventure. So tonight when we discovered the New Deal Walking Tour of Fresno, we thought this would be the thing. The tour, as described in the City of Fresno guide, visits six places in the downtown area which was affected by the New Deal. They include:

• the Fresno Memorial Auditorium,
  
• the old Fresno City Hall,
  
• a WPA sidewalk,
  
• Fresno County Hall of Records,
  
• the old US Post Office, and
  
• the old Fresno Unified School District offices.
  

This walk is a bit short, about half of a mile. But we took our time, enjoying the historic buildings. So the walk took us about 45 minutes.
