On the Trail, some people come into your life and stay there for a long time. Others just come in for the moment. We met Ivan when we came to the junction of the JMT and Mott Creek trails. He was going back up that trail, just stopping here to see if he could meet another hiker coming in from Edison. See Adventure 005, Hike 029 .
