Capture California

What is a YOLT? Well, you may have heard the term YOLO. Gary and Sherri think we can live again, not as James Bond, but as being reborn. Consequently, we are having fun in our life, after all, You Only Live Twice.

Adventure 088 – Lynch Canyon

Capture California, the Game-2012
Adventure: 088 – Lynch Canyon
Team: Thing One, Thing Two
Date:  September 22, 2012
Location: Lynch Canyon, outside of Fairfield

Description:
To team Thing One, Thing Two, Lynch Canyon was a disappointment. Not because of the area nor the scenery nor anything about the open space itself. Nope, none of those things were a factor. But when we got there, the gate to the parking area was closed and just beyond the gate was a sign saying that the Solano SAR was conducting a training session. Since Thing One's brother is part of a SAR group, we know how important it is that these training session occur without interruption and conflict. So we decided to go on and do other things.

Thing Two had seen a Sunset article about Lynch Canyon. Even though it was written in the Spring time, we saw the great potential of the area. We were looking forward to experiencing the trails, such as the Lynch Road, Tower Trail and the Middle and South Valley Trails. Guess it is another trip we need to schedule for Fairfield—this time in Spring.
