Capture California

What is a YOLT? Well, you may have heard the term YOLO. Gary and Sherri think we can live again, not as James Bond, but as being reborn. Consequently, we are having fun in our life, after all, You Only Live Twice.

 Description:
Thing One and Thing Two parked the car at the top of Fredrickson Lane—actually, only Thing One parked the car, Thing Two rode. We then took a pleasant, short walk down the Fredrickson Trail. One of the things which made it pleasant is the temperature was in the mid-70's and the sky was blue. The paved path went alongside a ranch, which I understood the sign right, they still grazed cattle—but we did not see any today. When we made our way down to the lake, the scenery changes from dried grasslands to more of a park-like settings with grass and trees for shade, and of course, the lake water. We walked the West Shore Trail till we got to the concession stands, which were closed.

After asking directions, we wandered back down the West Shore Trail, till we reached the boat inspector's office, and the originator of the Shari Gayle Trail Loop—Miss Shari Gayle. We had a very nice and good talk with the coordinator of Capture California, staying a lot longer than we expected. But somethings are good to do longer.

Our return trip was up the Fredrickson Trail back to the car. The notable event on the return trip is that a group (flock?) of turkeys trolled across our path.
