Van Ness Avenue Trail is a designated multi-use, bike trail that
goes from Shaw Ave to Herndon Ave on Van Ness Ave. We had a nice
walk as you were able to look at some nice landscaping and
residences. It was a very friendly trail as we were greeted by
cyclists, repair people, and by one of the local TV personality-Kopi
Sotiropulos. This hike would be better to be done in fall,
winter or spring, as it was over 90 degrees when we finished with
very little morning shade. It is always good when Thing One and
Thing Two find a new trail but we appreciated the trees of our
neighborhood.
